Long-time Colorado Tennis volunteer Knudsen passes away

One of Colorado Tennis' most selfless volunteers has passed. Jody Riser Knudsen, who served on the USTA Colorado Board of Directors, was named Volunteer of the Year in 1988 and again in 1989. She was so involved in so many capacities, USTA Colorado named its Volunteer of the Year Award after her in 2000. Read More

In partnership with the United States Tennis Association (USTA), the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) has launched the “Coaching Tennis” online course through the NFHS Learning Center. The course provides information on tennis coaching philosophy and techniques, as well as managing the team and its practices. “Coaching Tennis” expands upon the USTA’s teaching philosophy, and serves as a basis for coaches to develop their own individual coaching styles and techniques.
