Denver native Samantha Martinelli continues her outstanding play, winning her second national event in the last four months by winning the USTA National Clay Court Championship (G16s division). Martinelli (the 2-seed) defeated 13-year-old Natasha Subhash (1) of Fairfax, Virginia, the top ranked player nationally in her age group, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2. The Right Ball for Altitude

Consider this. High altitude tennis balls are designed for play at or above 3,500 ft. Colorado's lowest elevation is 3,317 at the Nebraska border, so technically, the folks up in northeast Colorado can go either way.
