USTA Colorado seeking Accountant
USTA Colorado (aka Colorado Tennis Association), an affiliate of the United States Tennis Association National organization, is the governing body for the sport of tennis in Colorado.  Established in 1955, USTA Colorado’s mission is to promote the growth and development of tennis. Our vision is to develop people and strengthen communities through the sport of tennis.  The organization has nine departments with 15 permanent employees and a number of independent contractors statewide. USTA Colorado is led by a 19-member Board of Directors. 

Accounting Job Description / Permanent Part-time position

  • Average 15-20 hours/week
  • Working knowledge of Quick Books (or equivalent); Excel and Word

Standard job responsibilities:

  • Budgets/General Ledger tracking
  • Invoicing
  • Accounts Payable (Checks and ACH auto pay)
  • Accounts Receivable tracking
  • Bank Reconciliation (monthly)
  • Financial Statements & Balance Sheet updates (quarterly – minimum; as requested)
  • General Ledger tracking of all departments
  • Payroll – semi-monthly (tax deposits, payroll tax returns)
  • Prepare annual 1099s
  • Pre-Audit workup for Audit (annually)
  • Insurance renewal/oversight
  • Time Off records tracking

Compensation commensurate with experience/qualifications.

Operate all functions of the desk; assist customers on court reservations, tennis programs, and lessons. Provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities of Front Desk Staff

  • Willingness to help develop and test efficient front desk practices
  • Provide a positive introduction and overview of the DTP to callers and visitors
  • Greet and assist guests in friendly and professional manner
  • Manage daily business transactions and ensure daily billing is completed and accurate
  • Manage scheduling of courts and facility
  • Work cooperatively with DTP team
  • Ensure facility is neat, orderly, and well-stocked
  • Enthusiastically promote participation in tennis programs;  assist guests with equipment instruction

TGA hiring for 2018-19 school year (and beyond)
TGA "Teach, Grow, Achieve" Premier Tennis is a tennis enrichment franchise that is located all around the country, is partnered with the USTA, and has taught thousands of students grades K-8 since 2013. Our core focus in Douglas County, CO is in after school enrichment programs located at elementary schools, followed by summer/fall/spring break camps at partner facilities.

Must be available at least 3 business days/week from 3-5 PM. Must be a good communicator and work well with children! No experience necessary - we will train you. High School students that can drive, tennis enthusiasts, coaches, teachers, those that simply like working with kids are all encouraged to apply!

JOB SITE:

  • Enrichment Programs: Douglas County School District; Highlands Ranch, Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Parker
  • Summer Camps: Lone Tree, Parker

DAYS AND HOURS:

  • Enrichment Programs: Monday through Friday during school year, 3-5 PM / Must be available at least three days a week for 6-week periods
  • School Break Camps: Monday through Friday, 8-Noon
COMPENSATION:
  • Assistants start at $13.
  • Head Coaches start $22.
  • Extra pay for long commutes (over 15 miles)
  • Signing bonus of $200 for head coaches - $50 in first paycheck after first class and $150 after session (no missed classes), assistants $100, $25 in first check and $75 after session (no missed classes)

  • Ensure the safety and satisfaction of the students and parents as a #1 priority

Meadow Creek seeking help
Meadow Creek Tennis and Fitness Club in Lakewood is looking for an outgoing, energetic, friendly and reliable person for several weekly shifts as a customer service receptionist at our front desk. This is the perfect job for someone who loves tennis and wants to be around it. The benefits include free club membership and free indoor tennis court time!

Duties include answering phones, greeting customers, making court reservations, organizing court and other tennis program information, and making our customers feel warm and welcome.

We are also looking for a morning person to open the club at 6am on Monday and Thursday mornings as well as an additional person to work Friday and Saturday evening shifts. The right candidate could also be responsible for all four shifts. This is a Permanent Part Time position, offering between 12 and 25 hours per week. High Altitude Tennis looking for coach

High Altitude Tennis (HAT) is a unique, fast growing, locally owned, tennis academy with a relentless mission to grow junior tennis in the Denver Metro Area. HAT is searching for a part-time position (M-F, 3pm - 5pm) ideal for a tennis enthusiast who is excited to give back and share their love of the great game of tennis with kids 10 and under. This instigator of fun will be a RESPONSIBLE, RELIABLE, HIGH ENERGY, self starter who loves inspiring and teaching life lessons through tennis to kids between the ages of 5-10 years old. $15–$30/hour.

Working with HAT is easy ... we provide all ASP (after school program) coaches with all the equipment and training necessary to run kids group classes (racquets, portable nets, balls, etc) at elementary schools throughout Denver. We provide coaches with a framework of daily gameplans to make planning group sessions a breeze and stress-free.

Lakewood Park Tennis Center (LPTC) is experiencing growth and hiring multiple Tennis Professional positions. Started in 2015, LPTC is an 8 court public facility just a few miles from Denver(Kipling and Alameda). Going into its 4th year, LPTC is excited to share the growth of their up-and-coming club with these new positions. We are immediately looking to hire multiple enthusiastic, motivated Adult and Junior instructors to help with LPTC’s growing demand for group classes and private lessons. LPTC is part of three tennis clubs run by Hitman Sports Management (Gates Tennis Center in Denver and Pueblo Tennis Center). LPTC is open year round; and the position is full time through November. (Three winter months are typically part-time and hours vary with limited indoor opportunity.)
