Kent looking for Girls Head Coach
Kent Denver School is accepting applications for the position of Girls' Head Coach. Kent Denver has a well-developed, highly competitive program at the 4A level. Candidates should be strong communicators to both students and adults. Previous high school coaching experience or equivalent is required. The Head Varsity Coach is responsible for all aspects of the program, including but not limited to, hiring assistant coaches, scheduling and ordering equipment. Interested candidates should contact Kent Denver Director of Athletics Scott Yates at syates@kentdenver.org.

Golden HS seeks Assistant Girls High School JV coach
Golden High School is looking for someone to fill the role of assistant girls high school JV coach to work with beginners. You'll join the Varsity and V2 head coaches running practices and coaching the JV team during matches. Season runs 2/19-4/26, 2019, practices Monday-Friday 2:45-5:00 pm with match days running later. Full Time Community Tennis Coordinator • Job Closes 12/7/18
The Community Tennis Coordinator at South Suburban Parks and recreation shall be responsible for the District's community tennis program including but not limited to the organization, implementation, instruction and supervision of USTA Community lesson programs, classes, leagues, tournaments, clinics and block time at all District tennis courts and facilities. The Tennis Coordinator is responsible for the operation and scheduling of the District's tennis facilities including the court reservations system and the pro shops at the Holly Tennis Center, Littleton Golf and Tennis and Lone Tree Tennis Facilities. Develops positive rapport with tennis community and enthusiastically promotes tennis. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in tennis/recreation program management is required.
    • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Individual must have specific knowledge of league coordination and tournament development.
    • Must be able to work independently without constant supervision. Must possess strong organizational and prioritization skills.
    • Must have effective communication skills; written and verbal.
    • Must have the ability to use a computer and proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, POS, web-based scheduling, etc.
    • Must have knowledge of the fundamentals of tennis instruction for beginning level to advanced level player.
  • Required Certifications: 
    • This position further requires the following (or can obtain within the first 12 months of employment):
      • 1. Player Rating of 3.5 or higher, or
      • 2. USPTA / USPTR Certification Tournament Referee Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • Driving Requirements: This position will drive a personal vehicle to additional District facilities for District business and as needed. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • The ability to successfully complete a background check including and not limited to criminal history and motor vehicle record check is required.
  • Work schedule varies day; evening, weekend and/or holiday hours will be required.
