Lakewood Park seeks instructors
Lakewood Park Tennis Center (LPTC) is experiencing growth and hiring multiple Tennis Professional positions. Started in 2015, LPTC is an 8 court public facility just a few miles from Denver(Kipling and Alameda). Going into its 4th year, LPTC is excited to share the growth of their up-and-coming club with these new positions. We are immediately looking to hire multiple enthusiastic, motivated Adult and Junior instructors to help with LPTC’s growing demand for group classes and private lessons. LPTC is part of three tennis clubs run by Hitman Sports Management (Gates Tennis Center in Denver and Pueblo Tennis Center). We are committed to helping you grow your clientele quickly; this is a unique opportunity to “hit the ground running”.

LPTC is open year round; and the position is full time through November. (Three winter months are typically part-time and hours vary with limited indoor opportunity.) Multiple in-season teaching positions available. Compensation is negotiable and depends on experience; commonly exceeds $1,200/week in-season. Bonus opportunities available; compensation packages that share the growth of LPTC will be available with the right candidate. Management training opportunities also available, please inquire. Broomfield Swim & Tennis needs Tennis Director
Bring your skill and passion to the Broomfield Swim and Tennis Club (BSTC) as our Tennis Director. This position is generally full time April through August, and limited part time the rest of the year. The Tennis Director will direct, coordinate, and manage the BSTC tennis programs, leagues, events and activities. 

The Tennis Director must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively hire and supervise the tennis staff of assistant professionals in the performance of their duties, excellent customer service aptitude, strong organizational skills, excellent instructional skill and sound decision making abilities. 

Duties include, but are not limited to: Organize and supervise Adult League and Junior Tennis Team (JTT), organize and run the Broomfield Open adult tournament, the Broomfield Novice Junior Open and Junior Challenger tournaments as well as the internal Club Championship Tournament and Intra Club Leagues. Provide strong tennis instruction for all groups and levels of adult and junior players, enforce all club rules and regulations governing the use of the facility, its equipment and other property, enthusiastically encourage tennis participation by planning events to promote the sport and fellowship in the club, prepare and conduct tennis clinics, fun playing events and/or tennis education programs, represent the club/facility in professional tennis activities.

The Tennis Director will be responsible for organizing and conducting social tennis mixers on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day.

BSTC is a members only facility located in the heart of Broomfield, Colorado which offers a tennis community that is one of the most active in the Denver area. We have Colorado’s 5th largest Adult League, and the states 2nd largest participation in JTT. The Broomfield Open is the 3rd largest adult league tournament in Colorado. BSTC is a large, active, and robust tennis community. We offer a full summer schedule of tennis lessons, clinics and activities. Facility highlights include 6 lighted outdoor tennis courts, four lane 27-meter swimming pool with diving area, children’s' wading pool, sand volleyball and basketball courts, snack shop, and large gazebo with picnic areas and grills.

Qualified candidate must be trained, certified, qualified and accredited for assigned services activities as required by federal, state or local codes and regulations. Proven capability and experience as a tennis professional and director of tennis programs is required.

USTA Wyoming seeking Executive Director

 

Wyoming Tennis Association seeks a motivated, energetic and dynamic individual to serve as the association’s Executive Director, Junior Development and District League Coordinator with the goal of increasing both junior and adult participation in the sport of tennis. This is a full-time position based within the State of Wyoming. This individual serves at the pleasure of the Board of Directors and works from a home office. Travel throughout the state is required. Prospective candidates should be able to meet travel demands and work several weekends throughout the year.
